New American Legion Post Forming in Lake Nona

An active membership drive is underway to establish a new American Legion Post in the Lake Nona area to serve the community, state, and nation.  Watercrest of Lake Nona has offered an initial meeting location within its facility at 9682 Lake Nona Village Place, Orlando, FL 32827.  I encourage all US Military residents (active, reserve, retired, former) to visit Watercrest and pickup information/application from the Front Desk.  Annual dues is $35, requires a copy of your DD-214, and completion of the membership application.  We are excited about this opportunity to bring The American Legion to the Lake Nona community.  Recruiting flyers will be posted throughout local area businesses with local points of contact and telephone numbers.  It’s time to come to the aid of your American Legion.  For God and Country!
